I wanted to be a doctor (OB-GYN, actually), but around 8th grade (14 yrs old) I realized that I sucked at math and most sciences, plus i didn't want to spend 8+ years in school and training.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I was a metamorph/telepath. I could change my looks in any way at any time, plus I could read minds. Cool,eh?

Prospect Park in Brooklyn, summer day , not too hot,lying under my favorite tree on the great lawn cuddling with my bf.

Carrots.

No, I wish I did. Can't because I'm in college most of the year, and besides, my  parents don't like animals.

Hey there flist...I've decided to sell some of my stuff that I don't want/ don't use on craigslist. Trying to make some cash to buy stuff for college.

Stuff includes-
-Two blazers that I never wore. Both are size Medium. 
- A top that I hate.  Never Worn. Size Medium.
-A pair of water shoes, size 9, worn once.
-An old 1998 HP Scanner, with installation software. (probably for like $35-$40)
-A set of Regents books that I don't need anymore, along with a thesaurus and a spanish/english dictionary. Also, Chicken Soup for the Couple's Soul .($25 for the whole set) Regents books are writen in with pencil, they're a little worn, but definitley useable.
-A book of Alice Walker poetry. ($5) Extremly good condition.
-Two Textbooks- (4th-5th grade) Houghton Mifflin, The Mathematics Experience - ($15), (9th Grade)Holt, Reinhart and Winston, World History-Continuity and Change ($20) Both textbooks are in really good condition.

I have more stuff, I just haven't really looked through all of it yet.  I also have some practice books that I never returned to the library. THink I should sell those?

I also started counting the coins that are in that big water fountain bottle in my room.  You know, the office kind.

It's basically almost filled, I say about 90%. I want to bring it to the bank, but to do that at NOrth Folk Bank, you have to seperate the coins and put them in those cardboard things and THEN bring them to the bank.  I poured out like 4% of the coins on the floor and started to seperate them. When I finished, I counted all the silver coins.  The pennies would be exhausting. So, in dimes , nickles and quarters alone, I have $35.44.  And I JUST started. IMagine what's in the whole bottle . *Squees* I'm gonna do a little bit each day until I finish.

I got into SUNY UB (University at Buffalo) you guys!!!!!!! Yay for me . I'm gonna go celebrate by making brownies. *huggles flist*

So I am finally getting up to writing this meme that hannah_sheree tagged me for.

1. I can get really anxious. Like anxiety disorder anxious. Example: I thought I lost my wallet (and a sizable sum of money) a few days ago and I literally couldn't sleep that night, I was so worried and dissapointed in my self. I hate dissapointing my parents. I woke up at 3:30 that morning and couldn't fall back asleep until 7. Fun.

2. I hate it when people chew with their mouth open. It makes me want to bang my head against a wall.

3. Sometimes I have really morbid thoughts of what people would say or do if I died.

4. When I'm at home by myself I turn up MTV Hits and dance around in jeans, a bikini top and oversized sunglasses.

5. People think I'm so totally responsible, and the truth is I used to cut my 6th period US History class (and sometimes my 5th period Health class) all the time last year. Funny thing is , I got a 100% in Health and a 99 on the US HIstory Regents (this stupid mandatory test you have to take every year (while in high school)for in NY state.)I also got a 98% in US History. Mwwahhahaha.

6.I talk to myself sometimes. (Don't deny it , you losers. You know you do it too.)

7. I don't know...?

Passed on to whoever wants to do it.

I can't wait to go to college. I am so excited... maybe I'll finally find a boyfriend. I got an acceptance letter from the University of Hartford (in Conneticut) . Their tuition is $30,000, though. I'll probably end up going to Binghampton or Plattsburgh. I'm hoping for Binghampton, though. I'm gonna miss E., though. She got in early descion to Howard University a HBCU (historically black college/ uni) in Washington D.C. It's an excellent school, I just don't want to go there...it's okay though, We'll webcam and e-mail, and see eachother during breaks. I got a serious tan on this trip, man... I'm like 2-3 shades darker.

So I went with Eboni to Max Brenner on Broadway between 13th and 14th St. (near Union Sq. in NYC. I got a new Strand bag. The food was pretty good, even theough E bitched about it most of the time. Ah, well that's what I love about her.

I had a really good day today. There was no backstabbing , no bitching at me to study. It was good.

- I got my postcard from hannah_sheree today. She is made of awsome and smiles for sending me it.I actually traveled through Brisbane 2 years ago. It looked awsome througn the windows of the coach bus I was in but we couldn't stop because we were on a schedule.
-I got an A on my final paper for english!!! I was so happy about that I yelled YES! YES ! WHAT! when I opened the envelope. So much for being subtle.
-I am this close to being done with my college applications. All I have to do is finish the supplements for Syracuse and Plattsburgh Universities and I am DONE. Hopefully before Christmas.
-I had a currant roll today.So.Yummy.
-I'm going to this choclatier place between 13th and 14th avenues (near to Union Square) with Eboni next Thursday. It is so great to have good, honest friends in this world. They are definitley a dime a dozen. Don't lose them.

X-Mas list-
-A boyfirend. (probably won't get this one.)
-A sweetheart neckline, strapless bubble hem dress. (Not in orange. Or brown.)
-Hairspray and Harry Potter and the OotP DVD's.
-A pair of Chanel sunglasses (definitley not gonna get these. I would settle for a well made look alike , though.



*Btw, I'm guessing you guys have heard by now that Jamie-Lynn Spears is pregnant. At 16. *Shakes head*. But whatev, it's her life, she can live it however she chooses. That baby's probably gonna be hella pretty, though.

-The last time I updated was like years ago. I am such a lazy ass. With killer cramps. I feel sucky. But not sucky enough that I won't do homework. Currently doing American History. This fracking sucks.
-I had a dream last night of this little lady (I'm pretty sure I knew her; I trusted her enough to cut my hair at my house, in my kitchen. After that, I was in my Dad's house (I think) and a snake was hidden in the bushes , and I started freaking out thinking it was going to bite me. My brother was pretty calm. He decapitated it with a shovel.
-Was watching VH1 Soul lat night. Saw Common's video for Come Closer. This is the first time I've realized that the girl he was proposing to was deaf, which is why he was proposing with picture cards and this romantic rap. It was so sweet. Sweet like sugar on top of love on top of desire wrapped up in forever. I am such a girl,man.
-I have a new video crush. Of course, it is another John Legend. P.O.A -We don't Care. Jesus. That video is just love wrapped in Buenos Aries somewhere.
-I'm thinking that I might let my hair grow natural in college. Not now. I like my hair right now, and I want to see what it would look like cut. Which won't happen until I leave my parents house and sever the proverbial umbilical cord.

My stomach is turning like hell and I'm really trying to finish some Bio homework since I've been mostly procrastinating so far. Ick. Raked in pretty well at Christmas; unfortunately, most of the people I know didn't. Got money, some CD's. Nothing monumental. Beyonce and Corinne Bailey Rae. This woman was sooo cute as a child. Seriously. Huge brown eyes. Awww. Whatever, lemme go finish my hw.

Yeah. Those poems i said I'd post while ago? I finally (hence the title) got around to it.

-Have been uber busy. This , coupled with the fact that I've been freaking out over colleges for the past couple of weeks really hasn't helped. I really shouldn't be worrying this early; I'm a junior. SHould be foucusing on getting high marks.
-Talked to Sarah yesterday. Conversation happened to stray towards colleges. I do have a few in mind and am positive about first pick : SUNY Binghamton. Awfully selective, that one.
-My head has been screaming at me all day. My little gnomies haven't been helping either. They're pretty fond of dancing around in there and spontaneously firing up their jackhammers. I hope the tylenol helps.
-Is it possible to miss someone you don't know at all? One of my favorite fic writers announced her hiatus and I felt...deeply saddened in a way. Like it was the end of an era. Never really felt like that before.
-On the plus side, I've been firing up those poetry synapses , and will post all ten(or eleven, who's counting?) as soon as I finish typing them all up.
-As pre-mentioned, I have been struck with spontaneous amounts of worrying about colleges. Seriously need to de-stress with a nice long afternoon in the B&N Starbucks. Preferably in an actual seat with a grande white chocolate mocha with two shots of caramel. And a big cookie.
-Saw Breakfast at Tiffany's for the first time yesterday. Let me just say that Holly Golighty is LOVE. Audrey Hepburn was gorgeous in that movie.
-Been stuck to my computer screen for most of the weekend because of the fabulousness of a Potterverse novel. This one had an especially inricate plot. Love intricate plots . You really have to do a lot of thinking to figure 'em out.

I just ate a yougurt for lunch. After looking at my belly this morning, I've resolved that I need to lose some weight. Not much, mind you ,only about 10lbs ar so. Mango and orange. Really good for 60 calories.
I really should be getting on around on doing my AP Calc hw, but not right now. I'm watching "The Horse Whisperer". Good movie. Scarlett Johansen when she was about 13 or so.

I am feeling to curved and sloping right now. My head is still moving with the beat and my arms and legs are connected to my core in a way that doesn't seem possible.
